Like the Cyprus Problem the debates have fizzled out?

How can we solve it? (keep it civilized)

It looks like VP has managed to kick start rerun number 5,689 ! 8)

I can’t wait till the next episode when VP tells them…

“Why can’t you understand that we will never live under you???”

And then Hermes (another character of this play, second only to Hamlet in popularity) responds with a …

“It’s just little shits like you that see it this way!”

I know the script by heart! 8)

So the GC theory is that the TCs will just fade away and the remaining 1 million population are so Turkish that the GCs can buy them out sending them packing to Turkey...duh it dont a genius to see that that one will never work, people do no just up sticks and leave their lives behind after being on the island for over 100 years is about the time you can even attempt to do such a thing and that is you can get past the 80 million Turkey factor. The more likely scenario is that the population in the north will continue to grow Turkey will get free movement in the EU and the south will be swamped with Turks gradually as workers then as son in laws and finally wham bam thank you GC mam your in laws and grandchildren are Turks...tats globalization for you dont you love it.

Ha ha, very funny VP.

If Turkey got free movement in the EU, Cyprus would be low down in preference.

Germany and the UK however, will be swamped and we could see the Turkish population in Cyprus actually reduced.

That doesn't matter just look at Polish immigration when they got free movement to the UK.

Add to that the thriving Turkish communities in both the UK and Germany and like in the Polish example, coach companies that specialise in transporting Turks cheaply to these nations will ensure that your average Turk would be looking westwards for the opportunities.

Dont worry there is enough of them to go around, the problem you face more than other countries is that you belive Turkey ants to take over the south, if you are right then she will encourage Turks to go forth to the south and multiply.

Multiply....your statement reminds me of a pack of rats multiplying in an unsuspecting persons basement and then boom they're everywhere,(crawling on the walls, ceilings swinging off of trees) kind of like what you want Turks to be in Cyprus......
