...i do wish i had more than dial-up, youtube, whatever, impossible for me.
not so fast on dissing the historian and the President of a Republic, presently President of the EU Council.
...sadly, i'll say, because i know social-economics, the man may well have much to say; wasn't he the one who filed the Cyprus Report, isn't he man enough to say i'm sorry as a Greek Cypriot to Tutkish Cypriot, and whatever goofy ideas like a rotating Presidency, he has represented the spirit and intent for a Cyprus.
...unless there are Cypriot Constituencies, Greeks will not be Free to act as the vast majority that they are at present. do we have a Cypriot State? if we have a Greek State, it cannot in logic be a multi-cultural state. Bicommunal must be defined to satisfy the need Mankind has for this new political-economic tool.
Cyprus is a State, with a Constitution that cannot remain the same. what Citizens seek from their Federal Government is the equal treatment, as Individuals, without distinction or discrimination, that represents this unity toward defending Universal Principals as Human Beings. National Assemblies within this context provide to these Individuals many additional choices, in sustaining as Persons an Identity, as well.
...what of the Communal Chambers, yialousa, or GR, you ignore then (it), or like vp, don't you know (lol)
your Constitution?
...i know my thinking is refined, i ask, where is the Greek Constituency to speak up for themselves, an equal in this case to other Constituencies? what is wrong with an Internal function of Cypriot politics so that there is self-representation, as a Person, geographically (Bizonal) by where you choose to reside? what is wrong therefore if like the other Constituencies, having self-representaion, these same Greeks (or Turks, etc.), in an election apart, have as Cypriots first, their choice as electors in a Federal Government; this is BBF.
you yialousa, could you live in a Cypriot State...
...you GR, can you live in a Greek State?
...if you believe in Universal Principals, integration, not just desegregation, things cannot stay the same.
