Holy Mackerel, i just spoke to a sparrow again!

Postby repulsewarrior » Tue Jul 10, 2012 10:32 pm

...i was just reminded by a fruit fly of a lovely experience i shared today at work.

...you see, at first i went to wave it away, the fruit fly, it became as agressive. i stopped because i remembered, the way, suffering Peace if you will, never letting that fly out of my sight, though still loving, waiting. that bug figured it out i think, and chose to fly away.

...a lovely little sparrow found its way into the office today, where i work. alone in the office (which happens rarely) there was no one else who cared, there was no one who saw but me, so i got up from my desk, fluttered about myself, if you will with the bird, and chirped, (sounds ridiculous but ive done it before), by sheer will offering some communication of a meaning and an intent that this bird could follow, my flight, and without anymore difficulty finding its way out my door, down the corridor and out the other door. frankly i am glad to remember that this is possible.

just had to share this with someone, cheers!

Nice. :) I love one to one personal interactions with nature. Even meeting a snake, when alone, you can remember how peaceful these creatures are and react back in kind. All ends well and you have the benefit of the majesty of interaction.

Bless you, RW, and you too, WC. My lovely compatriots. :)

Speaking of snakes - has there been a snake boom this year? From seeing hardly any over the years I have encounted quite a few over recent weeks. Mainly whipsnakes but one or two vipers too. All have my respect but needless to say, the vipers have more!!

I'll bet you started chirping your manifesto! :?

Funny you mentioned that.

A few years ago
One of those jumbo sized yellow wasps flew in through the car window, was furiously buzzing up against the back window to get out. Had to stop the car, i was scared of getting stung!
Opening the jeep's doors and windows didn't help,
I didn't wanna kill it, nor have it flying around in the car. So took out the tire iron and willed it to climb on. It somehow sensed I was trying to help it (as crazy as it sounds) and it flew right onto the tip of the tire iron and let go and flew away only after it was out the car.

Nuts I know, but it happened.

A few summers ago in the olden days when the sun used to shine in the UK a little owl flew into our lounge. It perched on a standard lamp and kept looking around. It flapped round the room a few times and seemed reluctant to leave. Not wanting it to crap on the carpet I tried to persuade it to leave by gently waving a broom near it but it wouldn't go. My wife went out into the garden and did her very poor imitation of an owl hooting, it flapped its wings and flew out the french doors.

That was a poem? :? Ok... here is one from me:

That day, the moon dreamed of my pajamas. Why, water so hot, was under my impression. I sat. Then, a moment of arousal, as it became extinct into the red. The hypothesis was wrong, the story had just begun. I am going for a shower. colon closing parenthesis

...next question, will there be more mice?

...very interesting read, thanks guys (without being gender particular); cheers!

One evening just as the sun was going down, two little bats flew straight through a kitchen window (one was chasing the other) and into the living area where they began to flap around the area. It was like watching a frickin vampire movie only it was for real! :?

Bats are known rabies carriers so I had no intention of climbing on the furniture, flapping my arms and making ultrasonic sounds to entice them like some of the tree huggers in here!

I just wanted those ugly mothers out ASAP so I did what every civilized person in the 21st century would do. I called my father in law… a keen hunter and general outdoors man to come and deal with them!

He drove the short distance in record time and caught them even faster, so I am happy to inform that my two little vampire friends have since gone to join the Adams family where they belong!
