Illegal Bayrak television (10.07.12, online) reports that Egemen Bagis, Turkish Minister responsible for EU Affairs, reiterated today that Turkey recognizing the Cypriot EU term presidency is out of the question. “Let no one expect us to recognize a state that we do not recognize, because others call it ‘president’.
Bagis alleged that if the “Greek Cypriot administration”, as he described the Republic of Cyprus, wants to talk to Turkey’s, it should apply to the “TRNC”, breakaway regime in the occupied area of Cyprus, and added that Turkey could take the messages of the Republic of Cyprus through Turkish Cypriot leader Dervis Eroglu.

He has to talk to Turkey. They illegally occupy half of Cyprus and we cannot get it back through force. To pretend otherwise isn't going to get us anywhere. The fools are those who deem to talk to "TCs" and their unrecognised (by everyone) set-up of so-called "trnc".
