Self inflicted bastardization does you no justice!

How can we solve it? (keep it civilized)

Self inflicted bastardization does you no justice!

Self inflicted bastardization does you no justice!

It is imperative that a people unite, come forward and proudly CLAIM direct ancestry to the furthermost ancients of Cyprus, CLAIM a direct inheritance to the oldest of unearthed civilizations in Cyprus, and thereby stake their ancestral ownership of this land for the whole wide world to see!

Those who fail to do this can only be considered foreign imports unworthy of any ownership or “latter arrivals” if you like and non indigenous contemporary claimants, because indigenousness is a unique privileged status of those who made first contact with a land… those whom the world would love to see come forward in Cyprus!

Nobody in the history of mankind has ever earned kudos for boasting of his alien hood so be very careful not to distance yourself from your country and inheritance with foreign-serving fabricated tales of bastardization!

The treasure of your inheritance is not the cold stones of the Acropolis from 800 miles away, but the bones of your forefathers lying in this very soil beneath your feet right here in Cyprus going right back to the very first Cypriot 12,000 years ago!

The world has been waiting for you for 40 years to proudly announce your acknowledgement of your glorious past so delay it no further!

Sadly the extent to which some Cypriots have been brainwashed into believing they are Hellenic has them firmly believing that the concept of a Cypriot doesn't even exist.

Even when we have a unique language, cuisine, music, wedding customs, an autocephalous Church, drive on the left but to name a few quintessential Cypriot qualities.

Added to that, Cyprus' dealings with the Hellenic Republic from the 1974 coup to the current financial crisis have been as disaster for the Cypriot people.

Went to Troodos on Saturday, my son took us to 3-4 villages and some monasteries including Krikkys. I was very disappointed at the rarity of Cypriot flags in the villages and was surprised that only a Greek flag was flying on top of Krikkys.

It was a very good day out and I can now appreciate the creativeness of my GC cousins. Shame that our lot are only good at destroying what others create.

Am I right in thinking that unless you let go of Greece and we let go of Turkey Cyprus will not have peace? (And please, don't come back with stupid remarks that you would have peace if TC's fuc*ed off to Turkey, we are Cypriots and are here to stay)

:D :D Yes yes yes, that's the one. Trust me to make a fool of myself. By the way, I just I thought I'd mention it, the north is on the verge of bankruptcy, such incompetent fools. Annan Plan created a false economy and now they are truly fuc*ed. My paid for house (Turkish land) is collateral at the bank. The developer has another 102 properties as collateral and this man is the Mayor of Nicosia. You can only laugh at the state of the place.
