I think he's trying to say that if the RoC doesn't agree to a two-state solution Turkey will exterminate all the Turkish Cypriots.

A word of advice to MrH. If you intend to blackmail us - make sure your hostage is someone we give a damn about!!!

Why should the RoC give up 100% ownership, albeit, only able to exert 66% effective control for 100% ownership of that 66% only?

A winning situation would be for the RoC to exert 100% effective control of Cyprus. Greek Cypriots and Turkish Cypriots and Armenian and Maranite Cypriots, British Cypriots, Arabic Cypriots and Russian Cypriots etc; are just proponents of that. If you are not a proponent of the RoC then you are not a Cypriot citizen. A resident at best and no place residing on the island at the very least.

The RoC is only looking to get back what is legally and recognized as hers, so its not a win-win situation, its a win-lose situation and not in the RoC's favor.

really you have to laugh.there is no common ground,no negotiation, no give and take, no love, no reasonableness , no seeing the other side,no nothing on this forum.
i firmly believe this forum should be used just for mocking the other side, at least you have some fun when clearly people that see themselves as important are rattled and annoyed
just forget it and dont even acknowledge the other side
greed and racism wins

Not true. The TCs are being offered a way back to reclaim their rights under a federal ROC. If the TCs don't take up their rights but choose to stick with Turkey's agenda of creating a confederation on the island then they are choosing to reject the only feasible solution on offer and thereby exclude themselves from the ROC and all the inherent rights that go with it. They cannot then blame everyone else for the choices that they have made...

But its the GCs that want to change our rights as soon as we show any signs of wanting to return.

Whose fault is it that the Greek Cypriots are integrated with the European Union and obtaining all the benefits - while the Turkish Cypriots have become a minority within a community of Turkish settlers?

If the Turkish partition had not taken place, Turkish Cypriots would now be enjoying the full benefits of EU membership! So maybe you'd be better off asking your leadership for a unified state!

After all, even a federal solution would leave TCs at the mercy of the settlers if they are mostly allowed to stay as Eroglu wants. That's something you need to think about yourselves.

If I was a TC I'd demand my full rights as an ROC citizen within a unified state under the EU acquis. That way I'd be guaranteed to be part of one Cypriot government and community to enjoy all the benefits of EU membership, including freedom of movement, democracy and the rule of law.

But then again, I'm smart. While the TCs are still playing Turkey's game and not realizing that Turkey is playing them as chumps.

That's why you have no EU rights and benefits; have handed the Republic of Cyprus to the GCs on a plate; and are a minority amongst a community of settlers.

Like I said, as dumb as it gets.

Must feel bad knowing that you came second to a group of settlers.
