Just because two banks foolishly jumped over a Greek cliff doesn’t mean that everything else has come to a standstill here! Life goes on.

Wages/salaries are still higher than in the “TRNC”, social services are still better, overall opportunities are still greater, and the infrastructure is still better.

The cost of living is much higher in the south and whats all this with the infrastructure being better a few better roads doesnt make that much difference as for your social services being better I wouldnt know never used it but I have been to a few of your government offices and they are far worse than ours. The important factors are feeling you belong, security and the very evident continuing animosity between GCs and TCs will ensure the division stay put add to this the major problem of language and hey presto reasons why TCs are not flocking south, you just havent go what they want . As you are aware the point on which TCs will never take a step back is bizonality as they need an area of their own where they will not encounter the above problems which believe me would run riot.

Which 'few' of our government offices have you been to, VP? For what reason? And when? Do enlighten us...

Many people from all over the world choose to migrate to the RoC to live and work and don't see the language as a major barrier.

Either VP is being deliberately divisive or TCs are thick.

I know what I think...

These are matters which tip the balance and deter people from migrating the laguage barriers always means aking jobs which are well below a persons educational level as employers would employ the guy who knows greek and not another language.

Vp do you even understand what a Federal Republic would look like, I asked you a question before and you refuse to answer.....How would life change and what differences do you see from how life is today for the Tc in the occupied areas and after a solution that encompasses a true Democratic Federal Republic of Cyprus?....

Exactly what the question asks....How do you think things would change in a true democratic Bizonal Federal Republic of Cyprus......for Turkish Cypriots, living now in the occupied areas and after the solution, living in a Federated Republic of Cyprus with a Turkish Cypriot constituent state.....what could you do now as a Tc tht you think you wouldnt be able to do after a solution?

The question appears to be loaded because normally the question is what will you be able to do after solution that you cannot do today but you ask "what could you do now as a Tc tht you think you wouldnt be able to do after a solution" as long as we have our own state nothing much will change because we have a state although it is not recognized.
