I think the large difference in house prices must be a major inhibitor, but the RoC government wasn’t clever enough to come up with a “moving back to the RoC” package to accommodate those that were willing if only they had the means.
It would’ve dealt a huge political blow to the Turkish occupation regime.

Why should we move south its no better than the north.
