Eroglu Laughable Claim of PKK Training Camps in Cyprus

Postby bill cobbett » Tue Jul 03, 2012 1:58 am

Really didn't know whether to put this one in the Jpkes section.

The Spokesperson for Turkey and the Settlers Dervis Eroglu Pasha has made the most ridiculous claim ever heard of in the problem of Turkey in Cyprus.

Hope you're all sitting down and not too far from a General Hospital cos you may need one after hearing this one...

Eroglu is claiming that as you read this there are 3,000 PKK Terrorists being trained in Camps in the Free Areas of Cyprus and that in recent years 15,000 have been trained in insurrection in these camps in Cyprus.

The story appears in the Fam Gazette... and it's not in the jokes section.

I would say, it is more like Turkey is training Al-Quaida terorists on Turkish soil. She then puts them pout to the West to keep up the US war on terror and thats whyn she keeps getting the American aid.
Its a win-win situation for Turkey. breed the terrorists and then pretend you are 'friends' with the West and have them pay you for the honour.
Eroglu is a twat, pure and simple, he and his masters are foaming at the EU PRESIDENCY and are looking for the shit stirring pot. The RoC just needs to keeps its cool and not be drawn into anything, BUT, it should highlight such comments to its EU partners so that they can get a taste of the BS we have to deal with daily and for the last 38 years.

Keep going Erogluey, keep making your psychotic accusations, they is will be the straw that broke the camels back.

Cheers

PKK base in Northern Cyprus?
by kimon07 » Sat Jan 28, 2012 12:03 pm

Prime Minister Irsen Küçük has denied media reports that the terrorist organization PKK training base has been established at the Beşparmak Mountains (Five Finger Mountains) of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus.

The Premier called the reports groundless and urged the media to avoid such false reports that could damage relations between motherland Turkey and the TRNC.
Prime Minister Irsen Küçük strongly reacted against the false media reports on PKK, stating that the TRNC was a secure country that was protected by the Security Forces.
He said the claims had no reasonable or geographic base.

“Such reports cause discomfort among the Cyprus Turkish People. The Turkish media should be careful while reporting on such sensitive matters. They should avoid manners which could serve to the creation of disunion between the Cyprus Turks and the motherland” Küçük stressed.
The Prime Minister urged the media to act responsibly against speculative news which cause threats against the reputation and security of our country.

Personally, I believe that there is serious chance that this info (PKK being trained in the north) may prove to be credible considering that some Turkish Pashas who serve in Cyprus might want to use PKK to destabilize Erdogan.

Does Eroglu have any credible evidnce of his claims? (more likely to be in Syria or N Iraq)

If it’s ok for Turkey to harbor and support Syrian insurgents then why shouldn’t Cyprus or any other enemy of Turkey do the same for the PKK?

If 50,000 “Turkish Cypriots” are entitled to a separate state taking up 37% of Cypriot territory, then surely the 13.5 million Kurds of Turkey are entitled to at least a third of Turkish territory!

The PKK is as just an organization as these “Turkish Cypriots” so they should be treated in kind.

The UN should commence bizonal bicommunal federated government talks for Turkey’s future without further delay!

In fact Turkey did that during the war in Bosnia and allegedly does it now again in Syria.
