The news link is here and is packed with updates:

In contrast, the Turkish EU announcements/achievements are very thin on the ground:

Shame they have no way of capturing all that hot air coming from these anouncements, we would have no electricity problem.

But was the idea not that once RoC had the presidency, they would bring Turkey to her knees?

The RoC didn't have to do anything as Turkey brought her EU accession to a standstill herself.

But, was this not the big idea of getting more concessions from Turkey regarding the solution to the Cyprus problem. Was this not what TPapa went on TV and cried his eyes out for? Was all that for nothing?

Its an internal (European) family matter. It concerns Europeans only. And you are not included. And you will never be. So, don't bother. Go think of another story to tell about the plane the Syrians shot down and ridicule yourselves a bit more. (According to a new version of the story, the "heroes" who were flying the plane got panicked believing that they hads been locked on by Syrian weapons and they ditched the f*** thing trying to evade the a/a fire   ).

NO, no. The idea was that when we would have the presidency TURKEY would bring herself to her knees. And that is exactly what Turkey is achieving slowly but steadily.
