Turkish Cypriots Set Terms for Future Talks
http://www.turkishweekly.net/news/13763 ... talks.html

Halted reunification talks between the Turkish and Greek Cypriots can only be resumed with the introduction of a deadline for negotiations and lifting the embargos imposed on Turkish Cyprus, the Turkish Cypriot leader has said, just a day before Greek Cyprus assumes the six-month EU term presidency.

It's not blackmail when no-one takes your demands seriously.

Nice one, have to have deadlines or else GCs will just talk and talk and talk with as you have all seen during the last round of talks.

Is there anybody here that thinks that an open ended process will deliver even though it has not for 47 years? What ever it is you are taking, can I have some, the suspense is killing me.

Although quite what it is they need to talk about I am not sure.

There is no exchange available of any kind. The only thing left now is when Turkish Cypriots wish join the EU if at all. Anything else is hogwash.

What makes you think Eroglu is in a position to dictate terms to anybody?

The RoC can also set guidelines and that is full fledged Freedom for Cyprus and its people and No Negotiation with a minority group whose aim is to gift OUR Country to Turkey.

Actually the cruelest side of me sometimes thinks ...... close the crossings for three months ..... and see what happens. It will throw them all in disaray in the occupied area
