Your people represent only 5% of the current residents of Cyprus so I wouldn’t even use you standing at a post office with your tongue sticking out!

With 50% weight must feel real bad being your side of the divide.

That figure is a figment of your imagination. You must've posted it once too many in my absence and you now believe it.

How much weight did we have in the AP referendum...if you had said YES and us NO then you would not get your way "%5" would have whipped your butt.

1. Declare the talks dead.
2. Declare that we are back to zero (no previous concessions valid any more).
3. Summon GC, TC and foreign legal specialists and ask them to draft a new CY constitution complying with the international and EU laws.
4. Start moving actively towards international institutions and fora demanding that Turkey abides by the existing UN resolutions (troops out, settlers out, refugees back, properties to owners etc).

Can we have a referendum on it, like last time?

Any time. Cypriots only, common ballot i.e., no separate community voting, (democracy and EU rules, remember?), close EU and UN supervision, turkish army confined in their barracks during voting, settlers confined in their houses. Or, even better, referendum is held after turkish army and settlers are withdrawn from the island.

how about the question of enosis? to be fair 80% of the population is Greek, to make an informed choice, let's get that question out of the way, first. then maybe Turkey will consider that Cypriots exist. in this manner it may be possible to attain Peace with Greeks, because they are not "Greeks"...

...wouldn't you think?

He's desperate.

He's run out of ideas.

His strategy has failed.

He has to say something to avoid looking like a fool.

He's seeking attention.

On the contrary, Eroglu looks like a fool whenever he says something!

True, kikapu. Eroglu is our secret weapon against the occupation regime. A man who no-one takes seriously...

I thought we were talking about a referendum for the approval by all Cypriots of a new constitution? Were does enosis fit in here? And what Turkey has to do with the CY constitutional issue which is an internal family problem of the Cypriots?

Forget any such fraud ever again. 18% is not 50%. It's 100% - 82%. PERIOD.

...frankly, i am tired of hearing "Turks" tell the rest of us what "Greeks" think, as though all Greeks are "Greeks".

...it is an appropriate question which ends this charade (if the result is negative), and it certainly will open the door to a greater confidence when the negotiations resume on a new Constitution; before any further negotiations begin on a new Constitution, i think it would be a good idea.
