It seems that from today Cablenet have upgraded all their speeds. My 12Mb has gone up to 30Mb with upload speed of 3Mb!!

They are charging an extra €2 per month for this. If you are with Cablenet and don't require these speeds, have a look at the advertising crap they sent with the last bill, you may be able to reduce your bill.

I will post a speedtest when I get a chance, but I can't do it from this machine.

Yes, it's soooooo faaaaaaast... can get all your posts before you post them.... :shock:

Went live this morning. Costs £GB25 a month.... but that includes some free phone calls.

Now, they have sent a new router, just have to plug that in cos the old one has probs with wi-fi.

... oh...and it's also remarkable how quickly you can download movies at these high speed. Just got a 2 hour one from Sweden, downloaded in less than a minute! ...
