Just a reminder that 1st of July is Turkish “Plan B” day!

Here’s a recap of what Turkey and “Turkish Cypriots” were boasting about just a couple of months ago…

“Should the Cyprus issue fail to be resolved by July 1st, the day the Greek Cypriots take over the EU term presidency, Ankara’s Plan B may go into effect. The plan includes changing the name of northern Cyprus into the Turkish Republic of Cyprus and requesting international recognition.”

We then discovered that the genius Turkish master plan is meant to be tri-stage! For macaroni lovers think tricolor! 8)

“According to the high-level official, Plan B consists of three stages. The first stage involves the request for recognition of the Turkish Cypriot State. The second stage involves the reopening of Varosha and lastly will be the request for international recognition. If none of this works, then steps will be taken towards establishing Northern Cyprus as a territory of Turkey. According to the Annan Plan the new state structure for Cyprus would include the Turkish Cypriot State and the Greek Cypriot State."

I’m having great difficulty understanding the difference between stages 1 and 3, but I think in laymen’s terms it sounds like a fart followed by a burp and then another but much smellier fart!

So to all those living in the occupied territory are you ready for Plan B??? :?

Send your answers on the back of an envelope to the EU Presidency in… Nicosia!

Turkish Cypriots have been free from the danger of being killed since 20th July 1974.

It is over my friends. There will be no unification or territorial adjustment.

What you see is what you've got.

Get it?

On April 16, Turkish newspaper Milliyet ran an article headlined “This is Plan B,” which reported that the TRNC was changing names. A senior official also revealed to Milliyet that relations between Turkey and the EU would be cut once Cyprus takes over the EU presidency on July 1.

“There is no expectation that negotiations over Cyprus will continue thereafter. Plan B will take effect after that date, and the name of the TRNC will be changed to the Cyprus Turkish [Republic],” he added. (Here)

So what happened?

So what does Turkey’s grand master Plan B entail?

Gentlemen, I have my suspicions… :?

1. Upgrading the status of the “TRNC” from “occupied territory” to “preoccupied with Ankara” territory.

2. Promoting Error-glue to Grand Vizier of the lost Turkic tribes!

3. Offering VP a counterfeit VIP RoC passport for his online (and offline) services.

4. The erection of a dozen more mosques to hopefully catch up with Istanbul!

5. A free 12” battery-operated dervish dancer for every household easily modifiable into a red transformer dildo.

6. Free water and electricity arriving via a laser beam from Erdogan’s rear end.

7. All Turkish perfumes and aromas will now be labeled… Istanbul – Marrakech – Ercan

8. Shared political power with the PKK over one of the public toilets in one of the abandoned public parks in eastern Turkey.

8)

Give it up. Outside the four-narrow walls of official Turkish indoctrination, no one buys this. The British, the Americans, the Europeans, basically everyone knows 1974 was about fulfilling Turkey's policy of Taksim. That's why even the neutral sources state this rather than regurgitate your claim of "genocide". Genocide, ethnic-cleansing and extreme human rights abuse is what Turks are know for, not Greeks.

It is over my friends. There will be no unification or territorial adjustment.

Well, duh. Not all Greeks live in a La La Land, like banananiot for a good example, who believes your garble that you really want reunification but the GC keep putting up "obstacles" like not denouncing their Greek ethnos and fulfilling their EU obligations by taking up the rotating presidency.

Reunification has never never been the intention of Turkey and the TCs. A permanet partition and the eventual annexation of the north to Turkey is your aim. Instead of playing the victim card, which again let me remind you NO ONE buys, bar a few idealitic "neo-Cypriots", and just be honest and admit that as a Turk you do not want any kind of reunification, that you want you really want is a seperate "Turkish" state.

What you see is what you've got.

Get it?

You still don't do you?

You don't seem to get it. The Republic of Cyprus is the internationally recognised entente. Your so-called "TRNC" has no status but is considered an occupied zone. Any solution needs to be approved by the GCs. At the end of the day we still control your destiny.

...only one thing i disagree with, barouti,

Turkey's intention is to take back the whole island; even at the Treaty of Lausanne they felt cheated.

...especially with a thinker like Erdogan, a maniac three terms in office slowly, who will seek his fourth as well, it does not bode well.

however, it is as you say, the Republic of Cyprus exists.

but, this Citizenry, to demonstrate a Bicommunal Identity lacks a Greek Constituency (and others), to be as Persons equal along with the Turkish Constituency, in their ability to provide for their electors' daily lives; without this form of Identity, their Identity as an Individual, all Cypriots as Cypriots, will remain without a credible voice having the bias of representing this Majority as Greeks.

in any case, Turkish Cypriots have the opportunity to demonstrate their desire for the Sovereignty of the island, and for the island as one People. they can recognise the Republic and its importance as a Government representing all the People's Will, by demanding talks at two levels, one which includes the Greek Constituency, and another toward the needed reforms to the State's Constitution.

...never mind the "Greeks" and what they will do, please answer the question, if there was a Greek Constituency, a Turkish Constituency and above this level of Government, a Republic, do you think the Greeks and Turks could then work out Territorial Jurisdictions?
