Not a lot different to the Millennium bug than. Bloody hell, what a joke that was!! Airlines cancelling flights, people replacing their VCR's and PC's. The world came to a standstill and then came along the year 2000 and NOTHING. Do you see any similarities?

One big difference. July 1st brought a stand still to the relations of Turkey with the EU. Six months of additional isolation.
Regretfully Bagis has vanished as well. He was providing lots of laughing material to this forum.

Plenty of complaints and doubts about a divided island that has just applied for financial aid heading the EU but that aside all this hype about how things will change in regards to the Cyprus problems when the GCs head the EU has turned out to be a load of bullshit...they have achieved absolutely nothing.
