You maybe find it funny but do you consider use TV shows? There is a greek show with great experience on finding lost people.

you may have tried this already, but have you gone to the coca cola factory and asked about your uncle, since the same family owns the factory now that owned it back in the 50's, they could have some records of your uncle George and where he lives/lived that could lead you to your fathers family...just an idea :D :D

A great idea, yes i did email them and they kindly replied back, saying The records for staff only go back to the 80s and on asking some of the older staff who work there didn't know him  I do hope that maybe a bell will ring in someones head and suddenly remember they do know the name.
Thank you for the thought, keep the ideas coming if and when they come. :)
warm regards theodosia

Everybody hate's monday, but i hope tomorrow will bring me some news about our dad.
Still waiting for replies from some emails and phone calls. I can only wait ....
Iam scared that he may be dead, and though i know that could be the case, i try to brace myself for that news. But better to know then not.
i'm scared too that he may be alive, because i know that changes my life forever and i just don't know if that would be for the good or the bad.
But the joy of hearing his voice again would be amazing! Yes i can remember his voice but how can i when i was only a year old? :o nobody believe's me but i would know his voice if i heard it.
