I really thought i wasn't going to hear from him again. I'm very worried about him, but feel lucky that i found him now and have seen and spoke with him.
will keep you posted xx

This is like something out of a Greek tragedy (saying this, I hope not). But it's so poignant. The long search. The brief encounter. The wait for news of connection. The illness which could take him away again. The bedside vigil by the long-lost daughter.

My, oh my - you have us riveted theodosia and because you are both so real, I wish your father the speediest of recoveries so that the two of you have some time together to make up for lost time.

Enjoy your time together. xx

just wondering Theodosia, why did you begin your search just recently or in the past few years?

we tried a few years ago, but we were told he was dead. but found out that my family didn't really know if he was or wasn't. then in 2006 i got cancer and found myself thinking about him a lot and thinking that if he was alive i would like to see him if i was going to die of cancer I felt ...sorry find it hard to explain it in words really. as I started to get over the treatment i was asking a lot of questions and not getting any real answers. I got a laptop and learned how to use it and it was from there i would do my searches. finally putting announcements on Greek radio and paper emails and lots of phone calls someone came forward with information. that's how I found him through the Greek paper.
