A regret is not an Apology if you want to be hard ass about it, which is why Israel's regret was not accepted, but Syria's one was, because Erdogan did not have the balls to retaliate against Syria, so he said that Syria apologised, which it did not. Assad stated, if it can be proven that the Jet was shot down in International Airspace, he would apologise, but not before. Turkey is doing a great job in weakening itself by ;posing as a regional threat to all its neighbors and by trying to destabilize and weaken them. The only reason it still survives is because it still enjoys the support and protection of the USA and the UK.
