The problem I dont understand here is that Syria was a 'supposedly' friendly neighbor. I cant help of all the dogfights between TAF and HAF, if every time a there was an infringement, a plane was shot down, there would be no airforce left. Greece and Turkey are supposed to be enemies........

Nooooo! They are NATO allies!

Has Erdogan apologised to the families of the two dead pilots shot down by Syria due to Erdogan's reckless behaviour by violating Syrian airspace deliberately?

Has Erdogan apologised for the deaths of 9 activists on "Mavi Marmara" killed by Israel, sent on a suicide mission by Erdogan to provoke Israel?

Has Erdogan apologised for killing 34 Kurds by TAF on Turkish territory?

Has Ergogan apologised for entering Cyprus territory without invitation by the RoC?

Has Erdogan apologised for anything wrong he and Turkey may have done?

Erdogan is always ready to apologize but he must first err!

No need.

Sure, he is the "The Godfather" after all!

Not only he did not apologize to Syria for violating their airspace, he lied and said that Syria had apologised to Turkey the same day the Jet was shot down, therefore there was no need to retaliate against Syria. Basically he was trying to safe face why he did not have the balls to retaliate. No wonder no one apologises or respects Erdogan, specially when it's not even their fault, but Erdogan still demands it.

Story of Erdogan's life!

So did Israel regret for killing 9 Turks, but to Erdogan, regret is not the same as an APOLOGY!

Bodies of Turkish Pilots Located by Titanic's Discoverer on Seabed

Acclaimed U.S. ocean explorer, Robert Ballard, whose claim to fame was discovering the shipwreck of the Titanic, aided tremendously this week in locating the bodies of the two (2) Turkish pilots after their jet was shot down by Syria. The incident occurred about two weeks ago; the fallen men were recovered from the seabed yesterday.

Ballard and his deep-sea exploration vessel R/V Nautilus (pictured in thumb image) found the bodies Wednesday about 9 nautical miles off the Syrian coast, after the Turkish navy had determined the area.

According to Davutoglou the regret was not sincere

Turkish FM calls al-Assad as a ‘liar’

ANKARA - Hürriyet Daily News
FM Davutoğlu accusses the Syrian president of misinterpreting the truth and says al-Assad’s remark that Syria didn’t know the downed jet’s ID was a lie
Syrian leader Bashar al-Assad’s recent statement that his country’s defense forces did not know a Turkish fighter jet’s identity when shooting it down was “a lie,” Foreign Minister Ahmet Davutoğlu has said. He added that he did not believe the Syrian leader regretted the incident as he claimed.

And no traces of fire or an explosion were found on the parts of the plane (including one engine) and the helmets of the pilots brought up. Which means the Syrians said the truth when claiming that the plane was shot down not by a missile but by a/a/ cannon, close to the coast and during a low level reconnaissance flight.
