How did the GCs forced the EU to allow 100% of Cyprus into the EU, divided or not? :?

I did not know that the GCs had so much power!

It goes to show that the TCs/Turks have no power in comparison to have prevented Cyprus from joining the EU!

The blackmail is what Turkey is doing. Illegally keeping the north part of Cyprus as hostage, trying in this way to force us to accept her racist and undemocratic terms.

Those who had some objections about the entry of Cyprus in EU had those objections because of the illegal Turkish occupation. They didn't want the problem that Turkey created to Cyprus to become their problem. If Turkey had obeyed the UN resolutions and respected the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Cyprus, then nobody in EU would have any such objections.

In other words it is the problems that the Turks create which were unwanted, not Cyprus itself.

Just as I thought. You don't know what you are talking about. You are just as confused as the previous versions of VPs.

Blackmailed her way in all the same. You are so predictable trying to deflect the question on Turkey....the Greeks and GCs blackmailed the EU into accepting a divided and troubled island and now they constantly have a dihorea problems of GCs moaning and groaning about not being able to rule 37% of the island...no one takes them seriously.

...frankly, don't you think this is a fair evaluation of the so called leadership in the northern part of Cyprus?

as i've said, even for basic infrastructure like water, too many conditions are made even toward receiving a subsidy for its improvement, for which this population has done nothing to demonstrate toward the EU, Goodwill, nor a manner of credibility where with time confidence is built.

...it must be hard for a friend like Fule to put up the efforts he has to favour them. he learned, from his experience i imagine, that this leadership is not generous when it comes to the effort of bettering the lives of their electors as Humans first, rather than as "Turks".

...Turkey (and the Turkish Army) is, whatever you want to call it in the north.

...message to Mr. Fule, Cyprus needs a Greek Constituency if it must have a Republic and a Turkish Constituency. delinking the zones from Sovereignty is a big first step which allows for discussion to take place internally between as many National Constituencies the Cypriot People recognise as having a living Heritance in need of the sustenance that they apply as Persons. Sovereignty thus, is not a question, allowing the Republic to be free toward reforming the State's Constitution so that it represents its Citizens without bias or discrimination, as Individuals, when unanimously, this group, the National Assemblies establish their Equality, for Good Government, and the Territorial Jurisdictions they seek, by Charter from the Federal Government their Right to collect Taxes toward the self representation of their Electors, each an Identity which are Communal: this is Bicommunal and Bizonal; defining these words for Mankind, rather than for "Greeks" and "Turks" is a noble experiment which i am defending, fair of course is letting the population as it stands choose Unity to Greece or Sovereignty as Cypriots, don't you think? and on a further note, allow for the return, at least for some as communities, as they left, the displaced from '63 and '74, this is Justice seen, and it provides for the diversity that represent true democracies, with competing components island wide within the National Assemblies, Greek and Turkish enclaves (Cypriots being free to live anywhere in Cyprus) pocketing the whole geography ends the fait accompli in a rational re-population where frontiers exist but no borders.

silly me, how rude...

...welcome Mr. Fule,

Welcome to Cyprus!

So Mr Füle actually showed the TCs the respect they deserve by entering the TRNC and visiting various officials, good on him for trying to get a perspective from both sides of the divide.

I told you before, he visited the illegally occupied area of the RoC.
