That's where you're wrong. Cypriot produce is what we should be promoting and supporting whereas Greek or Turkish products should be left to rot.

I am all for complete Cypriot detachment. In fact I think it is for the best.
Cyprus needs to forge its own psyche, nation and a history to be proud of and we need to broaden our horizons for sure. Greece is not the only country in the world yet we behave like it is unfortunately, and we pay the price time and time again. I agree that Cyprus needs to undergo a type of nationalism that the New World Countries did to detach from the "mother".
But I don't have any particular hatred for Greece at all, in fact quite the opposite. What I don't like is their way of thinking or mentality.
I do not view Greece in the same way I view Turkey. I also do not agree with revisionist history but I accept the fact that in Cyprus there was an indigenous population that established itself some 12,000 years ago. I also believe that this population was quite advanced. That is where Cyprus has its own identity as separate from Greeks. Not to mention other peoples that came to Cyprus from Sea Pirates (Egyptian) to Phoenician (Lebanese or Levant).
I do not hate them. Can't say the same for Turkey unless they leave.
We will need to agree to disagree on this one!
