New FB Campaign Against the Occupation

Postby bill cobbett » Mon Jun 11, 2012 3:44 pm

:D

News of a new campaign on FB called "Wish We Were Here".

It's an invitation to send a postcard of the Turkish Occupation, powerful images of the Illegal Occupation that say it all with a picture, to leading figures at the European Commisson as attachments to emails.

Campaign is being run across several FB Pages/Groups including this one... http://www.facebook.com/groups/227551977314188/

Those who haven't got FB accounts can send e-cards of the old towns and villages under Occupation to Mr Jose Manuel Barosso, the Euro Commision President and to Baroness Catherine Ashton, the VP and High Representative for External Affairs.

Here are their email addresses...

Mr Barosso is at... [email protected]
Mrs Ashton is at... [email protected]

Oh, and here is an iconic image of the Turkish Occupation that dozens of people have sent...

Can we also send photos of the desecrated and burnt out mosques in the South of Cyprus ?

Perhaps a postcard of Larnaca airport which is built (without permission) on Turkish Cypriot owned land.

What's good for the goose.......

Yes please, bubble-brain. Firstly, you need to find some "desecrated and burnt out mosques". All the ones I've seen look perfectly maintained.

Here's the most recent one I visited:

Lovely new tiles on the roof, courtesy of the RoC.

What about the Koprulu Haci Ibrahim Agi mosque in Limassol that was torched on April 13th.

Have you all forgotten that one already ?

Don't ask that to the oracle of the forum PC Bubble, let Kikapu answer it? I like to hear what he has to say and the other hundred or so mosques that have been flattened and made into carparks. Not that only they are guilty of this crime. Both sides are guilty of equal measure.

I know one place where not only was the church burned but the trees were seen as GC and were cut down too in 1958. There were fully grown olive trees that took over a two hundred years to grow.

Vandalism seems to be the order of the day. But of course the fanatics brush away all that and divert attention to the two mosques who have been repaired.

here is another image to post showing the results of the illegal occupation.

Nice init!

Well it should be demolished as it was illegally built by those carpet-b*ggers Orams on land still lawfully belonging to Meletios Apostolides.

Have the Orams paid the rent yet?

I suggest to send the TMT to burn a couple to the ground so that you can show the pictures and say we did it. But don't be too sure we will rebuild it.
The RoC seems not to afford such luxury these days.
