Is Turkey an EU member yet?

It seems everybody thinks that it will take Turkey 10 to 15 years before they can even remotely be able to join the EU accept you my friend. But in the meantime of course they have been in the customs union since the 90s which means trade freely. To be honest with the finances of all the countries in the EU accept Germany and France, who would want to join this bankrupt group. But we'll leave that for another day.

In the mean time have they gone yet?

I heard that Turkey remains outside the EU because Turkmenistan is not ready yet,Azerbaijan is almost there, but isn't this unfair?

But did you hear why? I suspect it has to do with Gas. Azerbaijan is even further behind than Turkey in her democracy, but since when has the rule of democracy been used to measure the suitability of a country?

Serbia almost ready too.

Yeah right and pigs will fly. If the Turks have any sense they will keep out of the EU. What is the point of joining a sinking ship?

I though you Greeks were good sailors it seems not.

Concerning democracy i agree, thats why Turkey, which is not as far from Azerbaijan as you think,is in talks with EU.
Its not about entering or not,is why do Turkey even thinks of entering.I guess if Turkey enters EU ,EU should change its name, that E should become something else.No offence, its the truth,Turkey doesn't belong to EU as Israel doesn't either.

Then you have answered your own "have they gone yet" question, my friend!

The EU can buy and sell Turkey many times over.

Not bad for a "bankrupt" group, hey?

it really is not, you have just been lead to believe that it is after the fact!, the EU is no worse off today than it was back in 2008!

Anyway, wealth gets redistributed and you have the symptoms of the massses, completely overreacting.
