Yes i know,i sometimes wonder why do turks go to work in EU Ieaving paradise behind. Its a huge paradox i will never understand. It would make more sense if EU would ask Turkey to enter their empire. Its a strange world!

Like any other foreign worker for higher wages but saying that the trend has now gradually reversing and the new numbers are falling Turks prefer to stay and work in Turkey, another factor being the EU is flooded with its own excess cheap workers like the Polish who have brought the wage levels down therefore making Turkey more attractive to Turkish workers.

Exactly!Who on earth does EU think is,creating problems on Turkey's accession.I think Erdogan should ask for an immediate public excuse from them.

The EU has made it quite clear that at best Turkey could only be a "special partner" there Turkey has no real intentions of entering the EU on those terms so all this showmanship is for the masses and demneted GCs who still think that have some sort of leverage via the EU which in itself is crumbling as we speak.

I think if this guy who started the so called movement of the north
in other words occupied Cyprus ........ is serious about his suggestions ..... he should encourage Eroglu to agree to the famagusta project as discussed by the RoC and Eroglu a few years back
