if the British had killed Pallikarides for his desecration of the Flag in the way that Solomos was killed I would have condemned that to, but he was not . Indeed I am not aware that Pallikarides was in any way prosecuted or otherwise crminilased for what he did with the flag: he did however later join a what I consider to be a terrorist organisation (one man's freedom fighter is another mans' terrorist) and commit criminal offences involving posession of firearms , directed agaainst the then recognised rulers, which he admited.
Now I belive in an independant Cyprus - you do not. That is why my concience is clear in living here.
I believe in a free and democratic Cyprus - something you will never understand. But that's not the gist of my questions to you. Pallikarides didn't join EOKA for another two years (when he was 17 y.o.) and this was because he had no choice as he had been criminalized for the flag incident and anti-British demonstrations. So this was a young boy who believed in freedom for his country who was persecuted and criminalized by the British.
Your fascist stance to your colonial brothers is 'commendable'. Now why are you so comfortable living in a countrly moulded by our freedom fighters decades ago? Or is it that you like living in a country created by 'scumbag terrorists'?
