Hi all,
I am visiting my family in Cyprus again this year. My parents moved there 10 years ago, initially to Chlorakas, but now Emba.
I visit with my wife and kids every year and love the place.

I have a question that has probably already been answered elsewhere, but I cannot find the info I need.

I am bringing my ipad3 with me and it is unlocked to accept any sim card. For obvious reasons I don't want to use my UK based sim card and I will want to purchase a Cyta or MTN micro sim card while I am there on a pay as you go basis.

Could someone recommend a service provider in the South West of Cyprus that will give good data coverage and also supply a pay as you go micro sim.

Also a rough idea of where to buy one would be very usefull.

Goto any cyta shop to do this. The micro sim is a cut normal sim and cyta will do it.
I am not sur bou PAYG mind but worth asking.

You can buy "pay as you go" packages from most kiosks but better go to an MTN or Cyta shop so you can get exactly how you want it (micro sim, mobile broadband). Coverage for 3G should be about the same, but MTN also has some areas covered with 3.5G and I believe is a bit cheaper.
