North’s new movement aims to save a dying community

How can we solve it? (keep it civilized)

...it will be the Turkish Cypriots who will save us from the blight of the mythic realities which keep us at an impasse, but they must find amongst themselves the will to express a love for Cyprus above their own National Identity. if by this example other Cypriots join this demonstration, the interlocutors in the least will adapt, and at most such a movement ends the Problem with a realization that a Unitary State based on Individual Rights, being Bicommunal, allows for another level of governance where the National Assemblies have the equal opportunity to sustain within their daily lives, as Persons, their Distinct Identities.

Ozersay may represent, this clarity...

...indeed vp, finally i can agree with you, without Turks there is no Freedom for Greeks; Liberty perhaps but no Freedom from "Greeks" and "Turks".

Now can you try and explain this to GCs and how much better of they would be by supporting such movements, Ozersay in trying to think outside of the box all GCs will do is run this into the ground just like all attempts by the TCs to bring the two communities together.

The Turkish Cypriots have to sort themselves out or face extinction.

Its Cyprus vs Turkey today and will be tomorrow. Its that simple.

I f this guy works for Eroglu now, why has he not had any influence in the direction of where things are heading. He does have some valid points and very credible. However, they are so in opposite direction where Eroglu is taking the occupied Cyprus.

The other thing he has not considered is the fact that the majority of voters are now settlers so how is he going to convince them, to support him, if they see him as threat?

We have all been exposed to you and your comments for the past 7 years on here and mostly the last three years supporting Eroglu. So tell us why we should support this guy VP/ Who do you support. It would appear that you are as confused as the GC's. Next time support one line of thought and stick to it.

i agree with you RW, individual rights should be at the top of the list of a united Cyprus, the judicial system should be improved. Here in the USA minorities play important roles in society, one is, the negroes of america are the ones who have a strong sense of justice, and through them, individual rights are strengthened......If we can come to the point of realizing this in Cyprus without outside interference then we are making progress.
