...all over the World, Commonwealth countries are holding celebrations in recognition of the Queen's 60 years of rule.

curious, are there any events arranged by citizens and/or loyal subjects in Cyprus?

Within the Royal Borough of Peyia, there is a major street party with road closed etc. I am not sure the nearby Cypriot neighbours will be aware of what is going on! I am always happy to party...

Yes, that Peyia must be a strange sort of place.

As to Mrs Windsor's 60 years on the throne... someone pass her the toilet paper.

There were boats from every country within the Commonwealth commemorating Her Majesty the Queen Elizabeth II diamond jubilee, including one with the flag of the Republic of Cyprus.
