Here you have, from the horses mouth a total hypocrite, they want the benefits of the RoC yet demand their own statelet. TC is ain't, pure and simple.
When do you leave dear.

b25, if you were to look what she says at face value, and she has an roc identity card and passport, while admitting her mum is turkish, that would mean her dad is cypriot...

if you were to say she is a settler you would then call all the half cypriots born to a greek parent settlers...

anyway i would rather have her than the bullshitters that say we are greeks....atleast she is not denying/robbing you and me of a state and identity...she says she is cypriot without any labels...

we need more people like this not shooting them down...

The Turkish definition of a Turkish Cypriot is very different than the Cypriot defiition of a Turkish Cypriot.

These "Turkish Cypriots", for all intents and purposes are not european citizens, there mentality is not european, they are not european.

They have no affinity with europeans (at the present time in any sense of the imagination).

These people, living amongst Cypriots in greater numbers with cypriot "rights", is high risk.

Mate, whatever turns you on! To me her mother came in illegally which is not the way other 'half' cypriots your refer to did. She came in under occupation conditions without the permission of the legitimate RoC ogernment, so she is a settler. She can claim to be what the hell she wants, doesn't change the fact that she is illegal. she 'claims' she has these documents so we are suppose to beleive what she says??

Anyway, to me settlers, kids of settlers is the same damn thing, if the TCs want to be with them, they can go back to turkey whence they came and try again.

Cheers

Seems you have more faith in the Turk than the Greek!

i did say if we take it at face value...what she says...you seemed to not take the point that under the current roc law a tc marrying a turk is still acknowledged...do you understand the consequences of this?...
lets look at it from a different angle...a TC goes to turkey to study...finds a wife...comes to the roc and rents an appartment in the roc...lodges forms to bring his wife to cyprus...right now he is living in the free areas...the roc accepts this, no choice really he is an roc citizen...the wife comes the tc leaves the free areas and re settles in the occupied...how are you going to stop this...is this your grind?...there a loophole...and the roc cannot do anything about it...and on top of that the turkish citizen obtains an ROC residency and EU benefits...are you happy with this?...does it make any difference?...

no i do not have more faith in a turk than a greek...they are one and the same and wish both disappear from the face of the earth, but the difference is i can see the big picture where you can't...

see a nice little loophole huh?...be thankfull tcs haven't thought of doing it yet...

so in reality i am not bothered with who her mum and dad is because the outcome is the same...the point i am making she says she is a cypriot, period...she could have used i am TC but she didn't...this is the people you wanna have peace with, and not put everyone in the same boat...people like that would most likely vote for a unitary system given the chance...why you ask?...because she dropped the turkish from the cypriot...if she was a hard ass she would have included tc...

YES:

1. We didn't take St. Hilarion when we should and could.
2. We let the Greek junta withdraw the greek army (division) and Grivas in 1967.

the good old junta days huh?...you miss them huh?...you should be thanking the turks in 74 saving your ass from a long swim back to greece...your ass would have been grass in 74 if turkey hadn't invaded...a pole would have been stuck up your where the sun don't shine turning you into a popsickle if you had decided not to swim...i thought you might like to know this...
