indeed, like health in general there has been huge strides because we are better informed. this may be a mental health issue, (still too) ugly to look at, still kept in the shadows as though filled with shame, the symptoms.

It is not about one religion being better than other. It is just that christian countries are a lot less religious these days ... most Muslim countries are today how christian countries used to be some centuries ago. A moderate Christian is no different than a moderate Muslim and religious fanatics are all bad regardless of what is their religion ... so it is not the type of religion that makes the difference. It is just that certain Muslim leaders today are also leaders in states or popular organizations and use religion as means to increase their power and get what they want ... Christians used to do the same some centuries ago ... but the west has now found other ways to get what it wants without the need to use religion that much.

The West has never stopped using religion (or other people's religion) with “buz” words like…

“fundamentalists”, "jihadists”, “terrorists”, "martyrs”, “Islamofascists”, and so forth.

Hardly a day goes by when you don’t come across these words in Western media. Of course it’s always the “other guys'” religion which is bad!

They easily work up the soft headed ones (like Miltiades) into an anti-Muslim frenzy as can be seen by his repeated drivel on this forum.
