But you already admitted that you are a minority!

Do you know the difference between minority rights and community rights? read your own constitution and weep.

Yes. Minorities like you, are entitled to all the rights and protections the international law, the EU law and the democratic Constitutions grant them.
If minorities are organized into individual and distinct Ethnic/ Religious/other Communities, depending on the constitutional system of various democratic countries, may additionally be granted self-administration/internal self governance, IF the administrative structure of the particular country/state permits it. PERIOD.

In your case, under a new RoC constitution, you will certainly be granted internal self governance in certain geographic areas, additionally to all your minority rights.

A last a break through...what the UN propose is good enough for us a BBF with political equality of the states...but its the GCs who oppose this and are trying as you can see from this forum to force purely minority rights upon its partner.

You and your Turkish friends implement a few UN resolutions, then we might respect the UN's views a bit more.

Nothing is agreed until everything is agreed is the demand of your own leader.

UN resolutions are not subject of agreements or negotiations. They are just to be implemented. Actually Cyprus has the right to stop negotiating until all UN resolutions are implemented first. Besides. The only thing to be discussed and agreed is the constitutional issue. All other issues of the CP (i.e. Turkey) are already resolved by the UN (invasion/occupation/illegal settlers etc).

Absolutely. Purely minority rights with communal (internal) self governance. Forget the BBF the way you dream of it (i.e., two sovereign states). You had your chance in December 2002 (Annan Plan 2) and you blew it. And we are grateful to you for that.
