They have the signature of the RoC - the legitimate government of the whole island. The occupied areas are de facto EU territory - you cannot escape this fact.

And the owners of the "RoC" are?

Its people as represented by the legitimate internationally recognised government of the island.

Who are?? under what internationally recognized agreements?....you can not chop and change to suit your own aim biased aims...the "RoC" constitution is the foundation stone and it has our names enraved on it this island is much mine as it yours, time you realized this fact sonny and acted accordingly.

You have to make up your mind. One second you claim you don't recognise the RoC. The next second you cling to it as the 'foundation stone' of your rights on the island. Which is it?

I replied in another thread but Ill say it again the `RoC` in its current shape and form is not what we want to be a part of but this does in noway detract from our rights.

Does your constitution a internationally binding agreement have rights of the Turkish Cypriot Community? (eg Veto right).

After Cyprus entered the EU such undemocratic "constitutional" terms are not valid any more. But since you seem to be so fond of the provisions of that constitution please tell me. Are you prepared to abide by all of them? Including the those defining one sovereignty. And that TCs are subjects and citizens of the RoC?
No? Well. In that case, lets start looking in what the international law and the European Law stipulates about minorities. And draw a new constitution which will be respecting those principles. Shall we?

Your doing what every GCs has been trying to do over history, sweep away our rights...you signed an agreement which gives us partnershi rights you cannot just in a few words throw this in the bin...and offer minority rights it dont work that way. Thats why the world supports the UN in their mission to bring about a BBF with political equality of the 2 states, this is a far cry from your offer and what you know we will never accept. Have you gotten your head around the fact that we are partners in Cyprus and not just a some minority you can tell to shut up and accept your fate.

You denounced the Agreement by walking out from it and by withdfrawing you recognition from the RoC. Now we start fresh. EU terms. Period.

International agreements do not dissapear becuase you say so, you are bound by them until we agree to changes, puh walking out was told to you by your teachers more like at gunpoint.

Then no need for talks? You denounce your illegal state, you send the Turks away and you come back under the Roc rule as prior to 1963? And we start discussing the 13 points again?

You just make up your minds and let us know.

Now wouldn't that be just what you want, that chapter was closed a long time you should have made the best of our goodwill back then...now Cyprus has been changed forever, why dont you denounce the "RoC" turn it into a constitute state we do the same and we can unite at the federal level...how does that sound?

But those agreements were agreed to be changed, by default, when Denktash and Makarios agreed on the BBF, which is the reason why the RoC is not offering you anything that is not democratic and the EU/UN will back the RoC. Your ONLY chance to have gotten more than the 1959 agreements was with the 2004 Annan Plan, but not to be. Since then, it is a whole new ball game. Why do you think Turkey and the Fascist leaders in the north do not want to continue with the talks if it's going to be based on True Democracy, Human Rights, International Law and the EU Principles. They want the contrary to the above with the likes of Annan Plan. It ain't gonna happen and the 1959 agreements are as good as dead!

The constitution cannot be changed unilaterally and will remain in limbo until a replacement is found and agreed to accomadate a new state of affairs which is a BBF with political equality of the 2 states as supported by the UN. You are right Cyprus has been changed forever it is divided and remain divided forever, time you got to grips with this fact.

In Limbo means, that the constitution is as good as dead. It was not changed unilaterally, it was agreed to become ineffective by Denktash and Makarios when they agreed on BBF. Why do you think Makarios agreed to BBF and why do you think Denktash regretted until to his death by agreeing to BBF, which meant that the 1959 agreements were as good as dead from that point on. A new constitution needs to be now agreed on if there is going to be a unification, and since Cyprus is in the EU, there cannot be any agreement on the constitution that does not comply with the EU Principles. You had your chance in 2004 with the AP and you blew it big time by being too greedy.

Unilaterally?? A draft will be prepared, in agreement to international and EU principles, by the sovereign RoC. And it will be put to the vote (referendum) of the Cypriots. ALL the Cypriots. Let me predict the result.

GCs: 100% yes
Armenians: 100% yes
Maronites: 100% yes
Latins: 100% yes
TCs: 40% (i.e. all indigenous TCs minus TMT): yes
Others (Mongols - Anatolians-TMT): Who gives a shit.

Total Cypriots: minimum 90% yes.

Do you call that "unilateral"?
