More Embargoes from the Illegal Regime

How can we solve it? (keep it civilized)

More Embargoes from the Illegal Regime

Postby bill cobbett » Thu May 24, 2012 11:32 pm

As all will know the EU has made over some 250 Million Euros to the CYs of the Occupied Areas

The Illegal Regime known by some as "crnt" has been doing its usual unhelpful worst to deprive the CYs of the Occupied Areas of a good deal of the potential benefits from the EU's Assistance Fund.

The European Court of Auditors examined about one-third of the Aid Projects, projects amounting to some 90 Million Euros, in the Occupied Areas and found them to be beset with political and legal barriers.

The Court of Auditors gives the example of the desalination plant at Occupied Sirianokhori, the biggest of the projects, which would have supplied some 100,000 CYs in the Occupied Areas with safe, potable water at a cost to the EU of 27.5 Million Euros. All works on the desalt plant have been abandoned and the money lost due to the reason the Court cites that the Illegal Regime/Turkish Army banned some workers from the site, or as the report says ..." Greek Cypriot workers were denied access to the site by Turkish armed forces in 2010..."

So here we have a very valuable project to meet a substantial part of the water demand of the Occupied Areas scuttled by the intransigence of the Illegal Regime/Turkey, who would have the CYs of the Occupied Areas drink the Scotch Mist of the Promised 20 years Ago and Still Not Started pipeline from Turkey!

In the light of this large scale loss of money one of the options being proposed by the EU Auditors is to stop the assistance programme.

Could they not find any settlers to finish the contract. It would have been better quality and cheaper.

Why did it have to be GC workers? How many contract have you worked on that stipulates the nationality of the resources?

Is the RoC really that racist?

Perhaps the settler candidates didn't have the necessary skills.

Wasn't it you VP who asked about GC and TC candidates going for the same job?

And the point of the post was discrimination, how is it controlled? a projected in the north with GC workers, whats the point? the logistics alone are a nightmare....this was my whole point discrimination in favor of one side and the risks the minority would face at the hands of a vegence seeking racist majority.

Which is evidently what happened on this project, only the other way round.

it is controlled by giving a minority a disproportionate amount of power instead, so they can circumvent the majority.
