Don't expect those apartments to be cheap.

better place to look could be parts of the tourist areas in eg Germasogia or Ag Tych/Amathunda where some now very down-market holiday apartments are being let off long term at a relatively cheap rate, just to bring money in. (Not the places which have been extensivley renovated and which are being pushed up-market eg the Castle complex or ex-Old Bridge Hotel.)

How much deposit will they collect for renting a room? 2 months or 3 months?

What's you opinion towards Cyprus economy regardless what the critics have said, the news or media, is the economy really bad there now?

What if the nation really go bankrupt, what will happen to the foreign employee like us with a contract with the company?

Haha... Maybe. Anyway, will be there in another week. Cyprus is just too far away from me, I have not much information about this country.

Just wanna know the guts feeling of the local.

God bless.

I suggest you try an internet search or two, to find letting agents, see what they have and make a call or too to get the information. Rentals for small apartments start at abiout 400 / month.
