I thought that this was the' Cyprus Forum'.

Why are we talking about Crete ? Though like Cyprus it has been invaded/ruled by just about every country in the Med, including Turkey !

Yes and that includes the Mycenaeans in about 1600BC: Crete was otherwise nominally independant for short while after it cast aside the Ottoman Yoke.

You have confirmed no such thing. The only thing you have confirmeed is that you and a few others are having wet dreams about Cyprus not being greek and are too stupid to understand what is being said.

Cyprus was, is and will always be Greek. Get over it.

Now we can talk about Turkey being Kurdistand if you like after all they were there long before the turkish state was formed. How about that??

Yes VP it took a long time to admit it but we have finally agreed that Cyprus has never been a Greek Island.

I do wonder why there are Greek flags flying everywhere though ??

Continuing their disgust at getting to know the Turks and regretting bringing these foreigners to Cyprus; the Head of Chancery at the British Embassy in Ankara had this to say (1975) about what he considered as "typically Turkish thinking":

"I asked Dag [Suleymez Dag] for his views on the likelihood of progress in bilateral discussion. He said that all that was needed for progress was that the Greeks should give in!"

The Turks have admitted Cyprus is Greek.

Before the confirmation of oil finds in the coastline of Cyprus, they sought to barter Cyprus to Greece in exchange for some of the Aegean ...

They never gave a monkeys for TCs! They prefer hydrocarbons any day.

The Turks have admitted Cyprus is Greek and part of the Greek world:

The UK Head of Southern European Dept to the Assistant Secretary of State, 1978:

" ... it will be unproductive, and even dangerous, to get involved in promoting talk about Cyprus between the Greek and Turkish Governments at summit level; the Turks would look for concessions in the Aegean from the Greek Government to match concessions by Turkey in Cyprus;"
