The older generation go south because they have contributed to the tax system before the divide, I am pretty certain the younger generation do not visit your hospitals as they all either go to Turkey UK or even USA if our own hospitals cannot treat them.

As for me why should I go south? plus dont you have to treat all EU citizens? or do you discriminate?

Whilst I welcome TCs seeking medical treatment in the free areas, so called "free" healthcare is not funded through taxation, but a form of national insurance.

Well VP,

The RoC wasn't forced to join the EU, even though Turkey and certain TC elements attempted to block it.

Whilst there are some RoC citizens that may not be happy abou this, it doesn't detract from the tact that visiting TC get a first rate service.

As Turkey is finding out with it's accession talks, it will have to also do things that some of it's citizens might not be comfortable with, but that's the way it goes!
