Hello!!! I would like to buy an inflatable Intex Seahawk 4 from Jumbo. My question is: Do I need a licence to oar the inflatable in the seaside? I do not intend to buy an engine for it, I will just oar. I searched the Government pages for infos, but I do not understand the law... It is for sure written so they can play with it. I need an answer from someone who has an inflatable and uses it. Thank you!

I certainly wouldn't think so. Even if you are questioned about it just plead ignorance and tell them you'll sort it out. Or better still put on a yellow AEL shirt, make a lot of noise, call yourself Georgos and the authorities will stay far away from you.

You don't need a licence... I don't think there is anything you can buy from Jumbo that needs licence. It is just a big toy
