Bsharpish - nobody was talking politics. :)

Looking at that clip again; I see that the old, *fat woman in white hit the young man first. I don't believe in violence of any kind, but if I hit another person like that, I would not complain if they hit me back.

( * I only mention the weight becasue that gave her a power advantage i.e. she was not some slight, tiny lady like me :D )

What is worse is that he threw the water on the first woman. If she had been closer in distance to him, what would he have done instead? No excuse for losing civility.

:D
Here's a quite funny description of that situation from Hellenic Antidote:

Evil Nazi attacks nuns on Greek TV

In unprecedented scenes on live Greek TV today, rising right-wing star ‘evil’ Ilias Kasidiaris lashed out at two nuns, dousing one with water and punching the other in the eye.

All of Greece was left devastated (and deeply amused) by this unheard-of brutality played out on its screens, which are usually a space for calm and reasoned debate.

One of the victims, well-known Gandhi proponent, Rena Dourou, said: ‘I was discussing the impact of Tolstoy on Gandhi’s thought when Mr Kasidiaris said I was deliberately overlooking the influence of Socrates on the Indian and he reacted as he did. I’m sorry for any offence I caused Mr Kasidiaris.’

The second victim of ‘egregious’ Ilias Kasidiaris, prominent Mother Theresa acolyte, Liana Kanelli, said: ‘I noticed Mr Kasidiaris was sweating, so I went to fan him with a copy of Rizospastis, when he hit me.’

Commentators said they were glad at Mr Kasidiaris’ water-throwing and slapping outburst because it would prove to Greek voters he was a shameless Nazi. Greeks were reminded that the Nazis became notorious in the 1930s for slapping their opponents and dousing them with water.

Prior to today’s incident, commentators added, Greeks were under the impression that Mr Kasidiaris’ Golden Dawn party was a philanthropic movement that specialised in organising children’s events, but now Greeks would see Golden Dawn in its true colours.

The incident also threw into doubt Mr Kasidiaris’ assertion that he was a self-defence expert who served in the Greek special forces. Critics noted that the technique Mr Kasidiaris’ used to punch Sister Kanelli, without any movement in his hips or legs, showed he had no idea about the right way to hit someone.

Despite all the outrage at today’s events, pollsters are predicting a spike in support for Golden Dawn since there will be a lot of Greek voters out there who would have wanted for a long time to give Liana Kanelli a slap round the face and to shut up Rena Dourou by throwing water over her.

Greeks suffer from continuous attacks, killings and robberies from 2 million+ illegal immigrants. They must be deported.

Greeks suffer from bad immigration policy and accept of the Dublin II agreement. The majority of the immigrants, are begging for papers to leave the country. These people are trying to reach central europe and we lock them in Greece.

And,surprise we are paying for this from the EU.

Europe doesn't want them mate.

Dublin II is a correct regulation and should remain in effect. All illegal immigrants should be imprisoned and remain in prison until they die, if they refuse to return to their countries. Then we can use them as biofuel.

BTW, welcome to the forum.

Free offer of one ton of fish and pasta.

They have announced that they will spend the whole amount of the state subsidy which they received as a parliamentary party (3,5 mil. Euro) to buy food which they will distribute free to people in need. :!:
