survey

Postby Donatienne » Mon May 14, 2012 12:44 pm

Hey;

I'm a Belgian student on erasmus in Nicosia and I have to carry out a survey for my bachelor thesis; I would be very glad if you could answer it; it's about supermarkets and it doesn't take a lot of time.
Please don't forget to click on "Envoyer" which means "send" at the bottom of the page !

Thank you very much, I really need your help;

regards,

As an observation I think some of the questions should probably have a "no particular opinion" option, for example question 9, origin of products.
For me the functionality of the product is important, and whether it represents good value for money/good quality. Origin is not a particular factor either for or against any product, though all other things being equal (such as quality/price) I would prefer to support local producers.

Other questions that I think may similarly benefit from a no opinion option would be in the second section, questions 2, 4, 5, 12 and 13: My choice of supermarket is driven not by the name or logo but if provides the range and quality of products I want at the overall total cost. Plus it has got to have a reasonable layout.

They have the Collect and Go service, which ables you to do your shopping online and come to pick it up at the store of your choice or you can ask for a delivery of your order with the Collivery service.

I order many things online but I wouldn't do it for supermarket things. I want to choose fresh things like fruit myself and for many other things I buy the freshest possible after checking the expiration date. I wouldn't want somebody else to do the choosing for me... unless that somebody else is trained by me to make the right choices ;)

I agree with you for fruit, veg, meat and fresh dairy items, but am quite willing to look at ordering on-line for longer life canned and packet goods. Indeed we ordered foods from Germany which arrived with a 3 month shelf-life but in a local shop the same product was life expired (and more expensive!)

i believe that the survey is on behalf of a company that wants to enter Cyprus market not an examination survey ,as i did do university studies i find the question quite specific for a company that wants to enter the market over a new country .
they gather info's in order to know how to show themselves in Cyprus market
so (BELGIAN STUDENT) do please dont underestimate the IQ of us ,you are probably behind a company that in the future will come to cyprus and you will be paid for the answers
your research is good but obvious for one that can take the hints of question .
in the end of the day what will make the difference for your company is competitive prices and also fair income for your employees in order to keep them happy and working in a good environment.
