Why does one go to London or Istanbul for shopping? same thing just closer.
...wait a minute, are you comparing Nicosia to London or Istanbul?

What difference is there? how different do you think shopping is in the TRNC?

The TCs who were surveyed think there are a lot of differences: the freedom, choice and quality of shopping in the free areas. Even enjoying the feeling they are in a European country! I think it tells you a lot.

You are reading to much into it, think of it this way its like shopping in a foreign country but without getting on the plane to fly to your destination. Its the same for people who come and shop in the TRNC...what you are trying to do is play a silly game because your mind tells you that you have to be better than the north because you are in the EU and have milked the the recognition you stole from us for all its worth.
