I'm actually Greek Cypriot, so you may have to look at Wikipedia and find the historical make-up of the Greek Cypriot population.

Whichever way you look at it, there's nothing anyone can do about the past - that's happened. All I can do is affect the present and part of the future (the immediate). I assume from your name and your reference in your post that you are English - there's nothing you can do about your past - but would you be happy to foresee the future and find your children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, etc., becoming minorities in theor own countries and then becoming wiped out? That is exactly what is going to happen.

You have Albanians, Bulgarians, Serbs, Croats, Macedonians, Croats, Turks and oh yes, Greeks (see Wikipedia or the Times Historical Atlas); at the time of Greek Independence I did read somewhere (I cannot find the reference though) that Albanians made up about 80% of the population of Athens at this time. I would say it's a bit of wishful thinking to think the present day Greeks are direct decendents of Zeus and Athena.

These were regions which (diaspora) Greeks inhabited for thousands of years (spoke Greek, were followers of Greek culture, later practiced Orthodoxy etc) and were forced out by changing rulers such as Ottomans. The Greeks were a huge proportion of the, then, populations of Eastern Europe, Asia Minor, down to Egypt etc etc etc. Many descended back into the now smaller mainland.

I did quote the Times Historical Atlas as well as Wikipedia because everyone quotes Wiki when it suits them and criticises it when it doesn't. You don't have to study Wikipedia to see that Cypriots are a mixed bag of nationalities as well, whether they be from one side of the divide or other. I know many Turks who look more Greek than Greeks and I also know many Greek speaking Cypriots who look more Arab than the many Arabs I've known.
My Grandchildren are Anglo/Cypriots and I love them very much; I don't feel bitter that they have Greek Cypriot blood; I'm happy for my daughter and Son In Law that they have a good loving marriage. If you think Cypriots should marry Cypriots and English should marry English and Turks should marry Turks you should read the history of the Spartans and ask yourself why they disappeared from the face of this earth. A Roman Emperor said "Let me meet my Proud Spartans" only to be introduced to group of mentally and physically handicapped citizens of Sparta which was due to centuries of inbreeding trying to keep their "Nation" pure.

Very. Both persecuted. Both feared for their tenacity. Only, in open competition, the Greeks can outwit Jews (this came from a Jewish friend.)

Yialousa...I did mean to have a dig at the Anglos, but got side-tracked. You're absolutely spot-on. I walk around and these people have absolutely no respect for themselves or their heritage. I see these big, fat white women and they're pushing these 'mud babies' around in prams and there's usually another five in tow, and they're all called Jamal, or Hakim, or Winston, or Tikka, or Molasses. They're bringing about not only their own destruction but the advancement of some huge Muslim army. You can see with your own two eyes that the Muslims have about eight children - they breed like rats, literally - but the Anglos have a maximum of one. Now, although it's not ideal, I know which ones I'd prefer.

Duuno what your on about, you only have to look in Cyprus to see these guys shacked up with Russian, Romanian, Bulgarian and even the asians. Having kids like there no Cypriot women around, or maybe they just like to play boss. Sort out you own back yard first mate.

I've told you before; they (ordinary Jewish people) have a GSOH (see 'Curb your Enthusiasm' etc) - or at least, they make me laugh anyway. You're just confusing them with all those unregulated-bankers/hedge-fund-managers who are a nasty piece of work.
