The people are the owners of sovereignty, now we have establish that and that we are amongst those people then we have every right to the sovereignty of this island. The fact that we are unable to share this right as one means that we have to share it separately divided. Is that simple enough for you?

The 1960 Constitution prohibits the partition of the RoC.

art.181
The Treaty guaranteeing the independence, territorial integrity and
Constitution of the Republic concluded between the Republic, the
Kingdom of Greece, the Republic of Turkey and the United Kingdom of
Great Britain and Northern Ireland, and the Treaty of Military Alliance
concluded between the Republic, the Kingdom of Greece and the
Republic of Turkey, copies of which are annexed to this Constitution as
Annexes I and IΙ, shall have constitutional force.

What a loada pollocks from VP.

Sovereignty belongs to a Nation State. In the case of CY it belongs to the Republic. It's what defines the Republic in International Affairs. It's what makes CY a nation-state.

Sovereignty is not divisible, if it were then... OMG!!! ... some scallywags would think about splitting it and walking off to form their own nation and countries like Turkey wouldn't be too happy with that if the Kurds took up the idea.

Flipping heck you people are dumb and getting dumber by each post, who does sovereignty belong to? if its a nation then we are part of that nation so we to have just as much right to the sovereignty of this island as you do. Thats why we have a right share if not in unity in division, seeing we are unable share together as one we have to separately, you cannot force us or just we have no rights.
