Sovereignty belongs to a Nation State. In the case of CY it belongs to the Republic. It's what defines the Republic in International Affairs. It's what makes CY a nation-state.
Sovereignty is not divisible, if it were then... OMG!!! ... some scallywags would think about splitting it and walking off to form their own nation and countries like Turkey wouldn't be too happy with that if the Kurds took up the idea.
