I can't find anything on it on-line, probably a media blackou but there's also a mention of a young boy being raped by his father last week and some murders.

Probably not, because the victim reported it to the 'police'.

yrys would have probably gone, "I don't think I'll do anything about it, after we are all human beings and I don't want to appear petty".

There was a comment by what I presume is a TC blaming Turkish settlers which has been deleted by the group admin.

There are also other group members asking the admin to remove the thread as the truth obviousy hurts.

Turkish Cypriot man recently confessed to the murder of his 7-year-old son, whose mutilated body was found in a trash can several days ago, daily Hürriyet reported.

Erol Diker admitted to first beating the child, with his brother, İbrahim Diker, and wife, Özlem Diker, and then dumping the body in a trash can. The trio then reported the child missing until a second interrogation of the father revealed the incident.

Mustafa, the murdered child, had been sent to his father and his father's wife two months ago by his birth mother.

Police stated that the child's body showed signs of serious violence based on the results of the autopsy.

The suspects were arrested and sent to court.
