Turkey Illegally Drilling Holes in CY For...

Postby bill cobbett » Fri Apr 27, 2012 6:48 pm

Turkey Drilling Holes in CY For... the sake of drilling holes in CY...!!!!

Remarkably and who of us would have thought it possible, there's a BIgger Clown than Bagis the Clown in the Turkish cabinet.

This, according to a report in the CY Mail, is what the Bigger Clown called Yildiz, who is a not so wise Energy Minister in Turkey, said about the illegal prospecting for oil/gas in the Occupied Areas that started in recent days...

We may not extract oil or gas from this well, but drilling is part of a wider package,” said Yildiz.

Think it's dawning on this Clown that there ain't oil/gas to be found onshore CY...????

they can drill all they like, but to draw anything from the ground, even water, they need a licence from the RoC. Whatever lies underground belongs to the state, ie the ROC the ONLY recognised state.
Maybe they are drilling a deeper latrine for themselves, after all people like VP continue to spew shit :)

...ten cents, per man, per day?
...potatoes?
...their pet dogs to crap in?
...burying anti-Turk protesters in?

Sorry, was this not the start of a joke?

Oh and there's a even Bigger Clown than Bagis and Yildiz and that's the Ridiculously Big Clown Erroglu ... !

This is what this particular Clown had to say on the occasion...

Eroglu hailed the start of drilling as “a historic moment” which accords Turkish Cypriots “great strategic significance.

So this Clown Eroglu is hoping that the CYs of the Occupied Areas are so desperately stupid that they'll believe that drilling holes for non-existent oil/gas all over the Occupied Areas is impressive, a show of Turkiye's technological progress... and of "historic moment" and a "great strategic significance"... What a Joker!

Anyway, an indication of how low tech and below industry standard and generally rubbish Turkiye's ability to prospect even on-shore for oil/gas is that it's gonna take a whopping 4 months to reach 3,000m... for comparison, at Aphrodite A-1, Noble reached a drilling depth of just under 6,000m and that was achieved in an additional 1,600m of water!

This "drilling" is a show, a re-run of the Piri Reis farce and just as Clapped-Out as the Piri Reis.

When it comes to re-filling the holes, I suppose we could re-enact the great Leonidas and kick all the Mongols down the holes. I can see it now "THIS IS CYPRUUUUUUUUUS".
