Constaninople has been called Istanbul since 1453 . It was founded by the Roman, Constantine 1 in Ad330.

It was the centre of the Byzantine Empire before being taken by the army of the Fourth crusade in 1204. and then by the Ottoman Turks in 1453.

Constantinople was founded by a Roman (did you forget who I stated had started the Roman Empire?) and was founded at Byzantium (they were Greeks, don't you know?).
