Turkish Cypriots remember slain lawyers

How can we solve it? (keep it civilized)

I am going to a civil memorial service for two victims of TMT and at least 3 forumers think that I am committing a cardinal sin. Can someone help me describe these "people" with a word other than fascist? These are the people who think that all Turks are the same. They are misanthropists to the bone. Fascists, through and through.

Crap and more crap. Had you just said you wanted to pay respects to the 2 fallen, you went on to say:

Bananiot wrote: ..... unlike their GC counterparts, have the good of Cyprus in their hearts.

Which implied that the GCs do not want the good of Cyprus, but the TCs do?

You are the one that sort to use the excuse of these victims of the TMT to beat us about the head again. Bravo, your masters must be very proud. Hey Halil, pat on the back for your mate when you see him next a.

Good for you Bananiot. Despite what the "patriots" think not all TCs were partitionist thugs. Did you know that Grivas was fed intelligence info by TC police officers, he mentions a Sergeant Mustapha Selim in his Memoirs.

It is people like Bananiot that give us hope that one day Cyprus may reunite and live in peace, side by side. I think all of you should thank Bananiot for his contribution to the CY problem. I had the good fortune to share a beer or 2 with this gentleman and I would not turn down the opportunity if it was presented to me again.

Bananiot, please do not take these fools seriously, they are the cancer of Cyprus and will one day realise this but by then it would have been too late.

Try telling that to our politicians!

Every Sunday night on the TV news we have a whole raft of the buggers making political speeches at funerals and memorial services!

It's no wonder the Archbishop keeps sticking his unwelcome oar into politics!

Bananiot, no-one is criticising you for attending the memorial service. But you seem to be keen to use these men’s deaths to criticise Greek Cypriots in a way that is really rather unseemly. These men were murdered by the TMT for exposing Turkish attempts to smear Greek Cypriots. It does seem rather strange that you would use the occasion of this memorial service to also smear Greek Cypriots. Can't you see the parallel between the reason these men were killed and your own attempts to cast the GCs as the villains all the time? I really don't think you can - otherwise you'd know better than to make such comments under these circumstances.

Of course I do not criticise Greek Cypriots. This is a sweeping statement. I critisice those GC's who I think did Cyprus wrong. My list includes sacred cows, like Makarios and Grivas, but this is how I see things.

So the GCs according to you are not guilty.
