FAZIL SAY TO EMIGRATE TO JAPAN

Postby Bananiot » Tue Apr 24, 2012 9:51 am

One of Turkey's best known artists internationally, pianist and composer Fazil Say has said he has been thinking for some time of moving to Japan because of the pressure he is under in an Islamic environment, where his statements about atheism are causing him trouble.

''Even though we are speaking the same language, we fail to communicate. The best thing to do is to keep away for some time. I would like to go to Japan, but I don't know if I will be able to do so, as it's too far away and living there means reducing the number of concerts given in Europe and in Turkey. And of course, I want to see my daughter growing up and she will remain here,in Turkey''.

The issue now is fascism, not communism. The far right is on the marsh right across the countries of the EU and in East European countries. Some reckon that "Chrisi Avgi" will win seats in the Greek Parliament for the first time, in the coming elections. Here in the forum, the far right has taken over and basically driven away all level-headed people.

Bananiot has facism on the brain. He is confusing people who wish to see their country liberated from foreign occupation forces with those in his fanatsy mind.

The people here are against the turkish occupation, destruction and usurpation of their country and all you are worried about is the 'rights' of your few TC mates.
Explain to us if you will, why, in your opinion, someone who wants his home back is a fascist? Because it seems your only purpose here is to support the turkish occupation with their propoganda spreading and support for the TC who in turn support the illegal regime.

You are the fascist here, as you just wish to see Cyprus as a turkish state.
