Haha. I must admit, Sotos, I didn't know it was such a low percentage!

All Turks lie to cover up the evil they have done (befoure you start, Viewpoint, I don't know you so I'm not stating you're evil - you just belong to an evil race). Ask a Turk what happened in 1974 and then ask a Greek to find out what really happened.

What Makarios did in his private time is no concern of anybody else so long as it was legal. The 60 Agreement was the best we could have under the circumstances. In 1973 he was offered all the changes he wanted for the Constitution and he turned it down on account that it excluded Enosis with Greece. That makes him, Grivas and the rest of eoka thugs and their current supporters all traitors.
