EOKA Terrorism & the TMT in the 50's and 60's - The Truth

How can we solve it? (keep it civilized)

In addition, referencing the the Cyprus government population and agriculture census of 1960:

GC population 76.9%
GC land owndership 71%

TC population 18.2%
TC land ownership 28%

How did the TC population and land ownership reduce so drastically in the period 1960 to 1974? I believe this to be the result of the civil conflict. Clearly many TC villages were destroyed and people killed.

No, I made a mistake. I was recalling my reading of the past couple of weeks in my original statement and I made a mistake. Apologies. In any event it is approximately a third.

This is a long way off from your figures of 12% or so. Can you now cite your sources please? (Not supporttheunderdogs personal website as you previously cited).

First of all you got your title wrong. It should be "TMT Terrorism & the EOKA in the 50's and 60's - The Truth" ;) Secondly if you don't know that TCs wanted partition from the 50s then you don't know anything about the history of Cyprus.

In addition, referencing the the Cyprus government population and agriculture census of 1960:

GC population 76.9%
GC land owndership 71%

TC population 18.2%
TC land ownership 28%

The TCs were the rich landlords of Cyprus?  You are out of touch with reality! I never heard about the results of such census but in a census anybody can say whatever they want. I could say in the census that I have a Ph.D in Nuclear Physics and that I am a billionaire and nobody would ask for any proof for this. That is how a census works! What is the reality about land ownership is recorded in the Land Registry.

TCs wanted partition and not even independence was ok for them.

The sources I gave you are Land registry assessments - your source is from a Turkish "Cartographer". Meaningless. And as you have now seen for yourself - your sources are not accurate.

Are you schooled to address this yet?

We had not even won independence yet and the Turks were ready to grab ...

A slip-up? Methinks, stud is guiding the 'newcomer', in the background.
