Well curiously it's not EU land either.

A reminder to all that the establishment of the "S"BAs in 1960 did not change landownership patterns and that a large percentage (some 50-60%) of the land within the "S"BAs is in private ownership or in the ownership of the Republic.

The monuments around Episkopi including the theatre at Curium are in the ownership of the Republic and are the responsibility of the Republic's Dept of Antiquities.

A nice place to hold the Opening Ceremony for CYs stint as Term President of the EU Council...
